October 17-20, 2010

Abby (3 1/2) is loving school! She goes five days a week from 9-3. I miss her so much, but she is so happy there. She is very busy. This past week she made a space suit and rocket ship to blast off to space. She was very proud of her creation. She loves art projects, painting, drawing, and cooking. We made bead bracelets too and she brought them to class for show and tell. We are going to the pumpkin patch this weekend to pick our pumpkins for halloween. Abby still says she wants to be scooby doo for halloween. I wanted her to be a fairy princess, but she wouldn't go for that. Oh well, I tried. Abby is the best big sister ever. She loves her little brother so much. Still hugging and kissing him. She loves to make him laugh!.

Zachary (4mths) is changing so much. He started blowing rasberries this week. He coos and makes some vowel sounds too. It is fun to have "conversations" back and forth. He takes turns "talking". He reaches for toys and brings everything to his mouth for a taste. I love when he laughs out loud. He likes to play peek-a-boo and laughs hysterically at Mommy and Abby. He loves going for walks and looking at the leaves and trees. Zachary adores his playmat and has stayed on it for up to 45 minutes at a time reaching and kicking around. He is absolutely amazing. My little Zachanunis!!! I love every minute with him!!

Zachary 6-7 weeks old

Well, I can't believe Zachary is 7 weeks old already. He is absolutely amazing. He's smiling alot and cooing already. He stays awake now for a few hours during the day and sleeps well at night. Abby is such a great big sister. She likes to help put Zachary to sleep, change his diaper, pick out his clothes, dress him, sing to him, rub his head (which he enjoys....a true Tobin for sure!) and smother him with hugs and kisses. She also wants to be wherever he is. All of his things are "her things" until he gets older she says. She has been home from school for 2 weeks now, 2 more to go until school starts again. Life is great and we couldn't be happier!
